This course is intended for individuals exposed to the NDT/ QC Inspection environment and are looking for a valid certification. The NDT Level 2 training available at Blastline complies with SNT-TC-1A standards published by ASNT- American Society of Non-destructive Testing. The course explains 5 popular testing methods including visual testing focusing on scientific visual inspection techniques, identifying key problems, dye penetrant testing for finding out discontinuity, cracks, and flaws while component configuration, ultrasonic testing, and evaluation methods for forging bars or billets, tanks for corrosion, tubing, and testing welds. The course further elaborates on magnetic particle testing for identifying and rectifying discontinuities on shallow subsurface and surface ferromagnetic materials and radiographic testing for inspecting errors using short wavelength electromagnetic radiation on metals.
