  • Inspection personnels who are ready to upgrade to a senior welding inspector Level-2.
  • Supervisors and senior personnel without a senior welding inspector certification.

ELIGIBILITY

  • 1-Year experience as a welding supervisor/foreman/instructor.
  • 2-Year experience with a certification in visual welding inspection.
  • 3-Year experience as a welding inspector.

OVERVIEW

The Welding Inspector Level- 2 course teaches the basic duties and responsibilities of a Welding Inspector. The course covers learning sessions on fusion welding processes, various steel hardening processes, identifying weld defects, knowing different steel types, metal weldability, identifying defects of parent metal, visual inspection, and destructive/non-destructive tests.
The CSWIP Level-2 course also includes explanations of safe working practices, codes and standards, and welder and procedure approval. You have access to practise examination questions, while being monitored and guided through the end-of-course assessment sessions. Having the CSWIP eligibility criteria met, you will be permitted for course completion on Day 5.
