The blasting and painting supervisor level course is similar to the modules taught in the blasting and painting operator and blasting and painting senior operator courses. After the introduction, students will learn about abrasives, surface preparation methods, equipment, surface defects, and surface preparation standards falling under the surface preparation module.
The course also includes modules on corrosion, paint and coating systems, liquid coating systems, inspection and tests, coating faults, health and safety guidelines, and a list of specifications.
